Retired U.S. Air Force Colonel · Board-Certified Emergency Physician
Dr. Dorsch spent 20 years in the U.S. Air Force caring for some of the military’s most elite operators. He served as senior medical officer for Special Tactics and Pararescue and finished his career as Wing Surgeon for the 24th Special Operations Wing, where he directed medical support and human performance programs for Special Operations forces.
He helped build the Special Operations Human Performance Optimization program, which focuses on cognitive performance, recovery and long-term resilience. His work centers on neurologic health, stress physiology, sleep and recovery science, and on sustaining performance under chronic stress and repeated neurologic strain.
Today he specializes in evaluating and treating traumatic brain injury, post-concussive symptoms and cognitive performance concerns. He also serves as Medical Director of the Brain Treatment Center of Fayetteville and stays active in emergency medicine, EMS leadership and medical education.
Dr. Dorsch looks at each patient through a performance lens. Fatigue, brain fog, mood changes and poor focus are often connected to how the brain is functioning, not separate problems to treat one at a time.
“We don’t just treat symptoms. We optimize brain function, resilience, and performance.”
